Warmer days are coming, and the new collection is arriving in our store! It's the perfect time to talk about fashion trends for Spring-Summer 2021, for both men and women. Some trends are already well known, as they were popular last winter. Ready to discover them?

1 - Puffed sleeves

XXL volumes are making their way into our wardrobes this summer. A true return to the 80s! Dresses, blouses, shirts... Puffed sleeves have the knack of structuring your silhouette while adding a retro touch to your outfits. Also known as balloon sleeves, we already spotted them last winter.

2 - Mini prints

The mini print trend concerns both men and women. The prints are often graphic but can also feature small motifs (like flowers, hearts...).

For men, mini prints are found on shirts, t-shirts, and polos. For women, these prints can be found on a top as well as a dress or trousers.

3 - Wrap dresses

A key piece of the 70s, thanks to designer Diane Von Furstenberg, the wrap dress has become a timeless classic. This spring, it's worn short or long, with or without sleeves. The brand DES PETITS HAUTS notably features it in its new collection.

We, personally, prefer the long models, which offer a casual yet chic look.

4 - Bermuda shorts

This is a masculine trend that's making its way into our wardrobes! For men, chino Bermuda shorts are a classic. We find them again this year, in several colors, at PETROL INDUSTRIES.

For women, forget poom poom shorts. Bermuda shorts or high-waisted shorts in the Bermuda style allow you to remain chic despite high temperatures. Opt for cotton or linen models, in timeless colors like white, beige, or blue.

5 - Floral print

It's a timeless trend! For several seasons, it's been impossible to escape floral prints, in summer as in winter.

It's the perfect print to add a romantic or bohemian touch to your outfits. This season, it's found on flowing dresses as well as blouses or trousers.
The good idea? Mix floral prints with other prints like polka dots, stripes, or even another floral print. Mix & match allows you to create trendy and original outfits.

6 - Retro pieces

After having invaded our wardrobes this winter, retro-inspired pieces are still just as trendy this spring.

For men, we notice retro logos on t-shirts and polo shirts. This is notably the case at PETROL INDUSTRIES. A collection that will delight sportswear fans!

For women, blouses and dresses are adorned with polka dot and gingham prints, for vintage looks without having to hunt. You can go for a total vintage look or subtly incorporate a retro piece into your daily outfit.
