This new type of shirt was then called a "polo shirt". 

The modern polo shirt, as we know it today, was invented for tennis players in the 1920s. It was the French tennis player Jean René Lacoste who designed it.

The ultimate casual chic piece, the polo shirt can be styled as sportswear, chic, preppy, or streetwear.

It gained its prestige in 1974 when fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg brought it back into fashion. She designed it in a wrinkle-free and comfortable fabric: silk jersey.

The advantage of the wrap dress is that it suits all body types. This iconic garment cinches the waist, enhances your décolletage, and is generally made with a fluid fabric, which is very comfortable to wear.
